My life in a nutshell
I'm a California girl, born right here in the sunny state. Though I don't know how to surf, I did spend many days on the beach as a kid. My mom would take the four of us down there for the day. I remember catching grunion one day, and octopus on another. We put the octopus in a bucket and made him squirt ink. Of course then we couldn't see him so we had to get a fresh bucket of water. I think we wanted to take him home, but my mom made us dump him back.
I wanted to study acting after high school, but was convinced to study something practical, like International Business. After working four years in offices while getting my degree (summa cum laude, I might add), I decided I really didn't care for the corporate life, and went back to school to study acting. I auditioned three times before finally being accepted into a three-year acting program. I didn't get to complete it becauce tax cuts in the early 80s forced the school to reduce the program to two years.
Then somehow life got in the way (as it usually does!). I spent 10 years caring for my mother through her terminal illness. After that, I decided to return to acting and give it my all. That was 2008. I took classes for 2 years to brush up my skills and started auditioning. And here I am!
